American School Bus Council Seeks New Coordinator

The American School Bus Council said it plans to fill the currently vacant position of coordinator some time next month, as it provided new details on the application and interviewing process.

The position opened up last month when Markus Vidnieks left ASBC last month after three and a half years of service.

ASBC said interested candidates can apply by sending their letter of interest and resume to info@americanschoolbuscouncil.com no later than close of business on April 22. The council added that it expects to conduct phone interviews with qualified candidates the week of May 2 and will consider top candidates for in-person interviews the week of May 16, 2016.

ASBC is a coalition of public and private student transportaiton providers as well as leading school bus manufacturers and state officials who oversee pupil transportation services.
