Dozens of Students Hurt After Texas School Bus Rolls Over

According to witnesses, the bus may have fishtailed over the slick road before it rolled over several times and into a ditch, injurying more than two dozens students in southeast Texas, reports Fox4 Beaumont.

The bus was carrying the students to a high school track meet when the crash unfolded. Twenty-six students and the bus driver were taken to the hospital. Two students were critically injured and airlifted to an area hospital. Only two coaches and four students escaped unhurt.

Despite a 2007 Texas law requiring seatbelts, the school bus was not equipped with them.
