STI Chairman and CEO Appears on Fox Business Network

Student Transportation Inc. (STI) Chairman and CEO Denis Gallagher appeared on Fox Business Network’s Countdown to the Closing Bell with Liz Claman on Aug. 20 to discuss the role the company plays in the current U.S. school bus transportation industry.

“This is a great opportunity to continue to share our story,” said Gallagher, in a statement released before the appearance. “We are seeing some significant savings in lower fuel cost this year, along with the increased use of cleaner, low-cost alternative fuels.”

Gallagher also spoke about the sturdiness of STI revenues and growth, as well as the outlook for the 2015 financial and operational performances for the company are “expected to be at our highest levels.”

During the show, Gallagher highlighted STI’s pioneering efforts with cleaner alternative fuel vehicles, such as propane, and how its role in pushing innovation in this $24-billion industry makes “it a very exciting time for the company.”

Gallagher also addressed the low cost of fuel, saying that any drop in the price of gas is “cash in our pocket.”
