Transfinder Announces More Record Growth

Transportation software and app company Transfinder said last month that it posted its lateset record revenue numbers following a strong first six months of the year that saw total sales increase by 23 percent year-over-year.

President and CEO Antonio Civitella said he expected Transfinder to beat last year’s record-revenue mark of $8.6 million, adding that the company was poised to surpass $10 million in revenue for the year. 2013 marked the 14th consecutive record-breaking year. That was after company revenues grew 20 percent from $6.5 million to $7.85 million in 2012.

“Everyone in the company is committed to delivering the best possible service to clients as quickly and thoroughly as possible,” Civitella said. “It’s our industry-leading service makes us stand out above everyone else.”

Transfinder said that sales to existing clients grew overall revenue growth for the first half of the year. Those figures increased 43 percent year-over year.

The company also pointed to 105 new customers throught the end of June, adding that more than 50 percent left competitors for Transfinder. Transfinder said it also expanded customer base beyond school districts to include the Center for Disability Services and marked record attendance at its Annual Client Summit in May as a crowing achievement. More than 210 people from 33 states, Canada and the UK attended.

Civitella said he was pleased by the results for the first six months of 2014, noting that he presented his sales team with lofty expectations that they not only met but surpassed.
