Bus Driver Smells Pot, Upsets Parents

According to The Eagle-Tribune, a Andover High School bus driver smelled marijuana smoke shortly after leaving campus with a bus load of middle and high school students. She immediately turned around upon detecting the odor and went back to the school.

This resulted in the questioning of every child on the bus. However, the intense grilling turned up no evidence of the alleged drug user. The suspect remains at large and police are claiming the hunt is official school business.

Yet, these best laid plans went up in smoke as the parents of the students weren’t given any explanation for the tardiness of their children.

“I think the biggest concern we had was not knowing,” said one parent. “Not knowing where (my son) was was just bizarre, especially because we didn’t know how he was going to get home.”

This turned each parent into an amateur sleuth as they pieced together the series of events using social media, which they also took the time to vent about not being informed that one pothead grounded the rest of the students from getting home for two hours.
