School Bus Evacuated After Toy Gun Found

A South Carolina school bus was evacuated of 38 children after a toy “air soft” gun was found on on board, according to CBS 7 News.

The bus driver for Greenville County Schools called 911 and returned to the school where the bus was clear of its elementary school passengers.

Authorities reported that the gun shoots small plastic balls, which was turned over to law enforcement and they are investigating.

Greenville County Schools claimed that these instances are handled on a case-by-case basis taking into account the student’s age, the way the toy was presented and the amount of disruption that was caused as a result.
