Teen Charged in Attack on School Bus Driver

A 17-year-old boy is currently being held on charges of felonious assault after he was accused of beating up an on-duty school bus driver, cleveland.com reported.

According to police, the 70-year-old bus driver had purchased a $10 item from the Toledo, Ohio teen’s sister for as part of a fundraiser. However, the driver only had a $20 bill and an argument ensued over providing change.

The teen punched the driver three times in the face, which resulted in a split lip, a swollen face and multiple missing teeth. The 17-year-old told police that he was acting in self-defense.
