The inaugural STN vlog, short for video blog, makes its debut this week.
School Transportation News Editor Ryan Gray updates viewers on the latest on cell phones and distracted driving, the documentary ‘La Camioneta’ on a retired school bus’ dangerous journey to Guatemala and a mother in Albuquerque, N.M., whose heroic actions in February has led to an innovative new emergency training for students in case their school bus driver becomes incapacitated while behind the wheel.
Additionally, Gray speaks with David Wright, GM of Starcraft Bus, about a milestone 25,000th bus manufactured last year and how the development affects the company’s school bus division.
Last but not least, viewers are invited to participate in an STN Web Poll on how rising fuel costs are affecting their operations. The poll, sponsored by Durham School Services, is located on our home page.
