CINCINNATI— First Student, the nation’s leader in student transportation, has been selected to provide school transportation for Valley View Local Schools in Germantown, Ohio. Effective July 1, 2013, the contract is a 10-year agreement to operate, maintain and manage all of the district’s student transportation services, which supports the company’s vision of keeping people moving and communities prospering.
First Student will install additional safety features to the districts’ school buses, including GPS tracking systems, onboard digital video cameras, and Child Check-Mate electronic reminder systems designed to ensure no child is left unattended on a bus.
First Student is currently interviewing district drivers to join its transportation team in Georgetown. The company’s drivers are skilled professionals who are trained to provide the highest level of safety for the students they transport to and from school each day.
