School Bus Driver Injured

A Missouri school bus driver was injured in a crash, according to The Rolla Daily News.

Lashonda Smith, 41, suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was flown by an air ambulance to the closest hospital.

According to the incident report, Smith was driving a 2017 International school bus eastbound on the interstate and changed lanes. There were no children on the bus.

The school bus collided with the rear end of an eastbound 2016 International tractor-trailer. The school bus ran off the right side of the interstate and came to a rest in a ditch.
