Student With Life-Threatening Allergies Reports Bullying on Bus

A middle school student in Texas reports being continuously bullied on the school bus for her severe allergies to a common preservative found in food and cosmetics, reported News 4 San Antonio. Other students reportedly spray 13-year-old Candace Rowe with cologne and perfume during school bus rides. According to her mother, Candace’s allergies are so severe that her lips and throat swell to the point that breathing becomes difficult. The school district says it has investigated the matter and disciplined one student.
