OEConnection and Navistar Expand Parts Supply Network Solution to Mexico International Truck Dealers

RICHFIELD, Ohio — OEConnection LLC, the leading Online Parts & Service Exchange in the automotive industry, has announced the expansion of their supply chain solutions to the International® truck dealerships throughout Mexico.

The program follows an agreement in 2009 with Navistar, Inc. to provide online part marketing and sourcing solutions to its dealerships throughout the United States and Canada. Since August, 2009, more than 95% of International and IC Bus dealerships in U.S. and Canada have used OEConnection’s online part marketing, sourcing, and idle inventory reduction solutions.

According to Rommel Miranda, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Navistar, it was the success of the U.S. and Canadian launch program that prompted the company to expand OEConnection’s web-based solutions to its 84 International dealerships in Mexico. “After a year of using OEConnection’s web-based technology, our participating U.S. and Canadian dealerships have reported improvements in operational efficiencies, customer satisfaction, and fulfillment of inventory backorders,” Miranda said. “We anticipate that our dealer locations in Mexico will achieve positive results as well.”

Stated Charles Rotuno, President and CEO of OEConnection, “We are very pleased and excited with the opportunity to extend our online parts supply network to International truck dealerships in Mexico. Clearly, the value of getting the right parts, to the right place, at the right time has no boundaries. We are on track to expand our presence in both automotive and non-automotive manufacturing markets throughout North America and beyond.”

International truck dealers in Mexico will have access to the same OEConnection technology tools as their counterparts in the U.S. and Canada, with complete product translation to Spanish. OEConnection and Navistar anticipate a full rollout of these solutions by the end of 2010.
