AngelTrax Names New CFO, Creative Director

Mobile video surveillance provider AngelTrax has hired Tommy Williams as its new chief financial officer and Rob French as its new creative director, the company said. Combined, the pair brings nearly 70 years of professional experience to the table.

Williams boasts 37 of those years in accounting and financial services. He joins AngelTrax from Arnold Lumber Company, where he served as comptroller for the past 13 years. Before that, he worked for building materials company Champion International Corporation. Williams is a native of Dothan, Alabama.

“AngelTrax is a fast-growing company and a leader in its field,” Williams said. “I am excited to join the team and be a part of its continued growth. AngelTrax continues to lead the industry in innovative product development and market growth, and it is an exciting time to be a part of this team.”

Richie Howard, president and CEO of IVS, Inc. and AngelTrax, said the addition of Williams reflects the brand’s growth as well as that of VizuCop, the company’s in-car video surveillance systems for law enforcement.

“The AngelTrax brand continues to be the leader in the mobile digital video surveillance industry,” Howard said. “With the recent launch of the new VizuCop police video brand, we anticipate even greater growth. The addition of someone with Tommy’s background as the CFO is a natural addition to the AngelTrax family. He brings many years of accounting and personnel experience from the forest products industry with him and will be a natural fit at AngelTrax.”

Meanwhile, French will oversee the continued development of the AngelTrax brand by providing a “fresh look” for the company’s marketing materials. He will also oversee an expansion of social and traditional media outreach.

“It was a blessing to find an opportunity to utilize my career experience in advertising and to return to this area to live near family and lifelong friends,” French said. “I look forward to the challenges of continuing to establish and promote two strong brands – AngelTrax and VizuCop.”

French recently served as art director for Communicators Group, Inc., in Keen, New Hampshire, where he worked with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Planters/LifeSavers, Wachovia Bank, Crane’s Paper Co., Northway Bank, Markem-Imaje, and Velcro USA. He is a graduate of Auburn University.

“We are pleased to have someone of Rob’s caliber heading up our marketing department,” Howard added. “He brings a solid track record, diverse creative and marketing background and innovative ideas to our in-house marketing team. As the AngelTrax brand continues to grow, and with the launch of the VizuCop brand, Rob will bring a fresh approach to helping us continue to expand the brand recognition of both.”
