Blue Bird Names Landreth GM of Parts, Service Business

Blue Bird Corporation announced that Bill Landreth has taken over the leadership of the company’s parts and service division.

Landreth has more than 30 years of experience with parts and service management, specifically focused on the truck and school bus industry. Blue Bird said he has worked closely with dealerships to further support the OEM’s “premier service and support pledge, along with globally growing the parts and service division.”

“We are delighted to welcome Bill to the Blue Bird team,” added Phil Horlock, president and CEO of Blue Bird Corporation. “Bill brings a thorough knowledge of the parts and service function and has considerable experience in developing and executing business strategies that drive profitable growth. His experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our market share both domestically and internationally, while providing the industry’s best customer support.”

Landreth comes to Blue Bird from American LaFrance, where he was responsible for its aftermarket parts and service division. Previously, Bill worked at Daimler Trucks and Freightliner in parts sales, marketing, marketing analysis, pricing optimization and as a regional parts manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Portland State University School of Business.
