Blue Bird Unveils Redesigned Website

School bus manufacturer Blue Bird launched a new version of its website following the STN EXPO in Reno, Nevada that features expanded sections on each of the company’s brands and fuels that it sells.The website allows users to browse each model by fuel or usage requirements. In particular, it lists horsepower, gross vehicle weight rating, fuel tank and passenger capacity, plus details on safety, quality and total cost of ownership.

It also features a new interactive quote request form, parts and service information, a location-based dealer and service center finder, and contact information for financing.

The redesigned blue-bird.com features a Blue Bird Vantage portal with updated information and brochure downloads for all bus models. The portal to allow individual bus lookup via the body number or VIN, and resources such as driver handbooks, service manuals and VIN description for vehicles produced after 2007.

A Blue Bird representative told School Transportation News that the company plans to post more content to its website in coming weeks.
