School bus contractor First Student has launched a new website, firststudentinc.com, designed to provide richer content for school districts and parents alike.
“We invite school districts and parents to visit our new website,” said First Student President Dennis R. Maple. “School buses are the safest and most reliable way for students to travel to and from school, and we are proud to showcase the good service our team provides each day.”
One of the website’s new features is a section for parents, where they can download bus safety tips, phone numbers and locations and other educational resources.
One of the contractor’s goals for the new website is to create awareness among school districts about the potential benefits of contracting school bus services, providing step-by-step information on the process.
“Being prepared with the facts can help districts prepare for and answer questions that may arise during the contracting decision process,” the company said in a statement.
Other notable features include a section highlighting the volunteering and service efforts of First Student employees in their communities, as well as mobile-friendly design
