IC Bus is now in full-production with the RE Series Type D school bus. The RE Series now offers elevated features, such as enhanced interiors and maximum passenger capacity, optimum safety, connected technology, and the top-of-the-line Cummins® L9 engine.

- The Allison 3000 transmission with an integrated cooler, resulting in less complexity and improve reliability.
- Newly designed windows that minimize the effort needed to operate and offer greater protection against leaking.
- Interchangeable SafeGuard BTI Seating exclusively for IC Bus.
- A frame mounted rollout battery tray.
- Easy DEF tank access.
- A smart body controller capable of monitoring and supervising an array of control functions including, daytime running lights.
