CONCORD, Mass. — Everyday Solutions, Inc, the leading provider of integrated solutions for Student Transportation Information Management, announced today that Charlotte County Public Schools (CCPS) based in Port Charlotte, FL has standardized on GPS-driven applications from Everyday Solutions.
“We expect to see many benefits from using Everyday Solutions’ GPS-driven applications to manage our school bus fleet.” says Richard Duckworth, Transportation Director at CCPS. “Accurate GPS information will enable us to run more efficiently and keep our drivers and student riders safe.”
EveryPoint™ – District, Everyday Solutions’ UHF radio-based GPS hardware, provides accurate location information every 10 seconds and without costly monthly cellular fees. EveryPoint and an emergency button will be installed on 132 buses at CCPS. In the event of an emergency, the driver can press the emergency button and an alert, including the precise bus location, will be sent via email and text message to school officials. EveryPoint will also supply CCPS with real-time and historical data that can be presented in reports and on maps of the district to monitor activities such as excessive speeding, engine idling and fleet performance.
“Everyday Solutions’ applications empower school districts to offset the challenge of budget cuts and higher fuel costs while increasing safety and improving efficiency,” says Jay Wurts, President and CEO of Everyday Solutions. “We are pleased that Charlotte County has selected us to be their GPS solutions provider and we will ensure their success with our award winning customer service.”
