Collins Bus Debuts New Ford Transit Type A School Bus

SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Collins Bus Corporation, a subsidiary of REV Group, Inc., unveiled its new Type A body on the Ford Transit chassis at the NAPT Summit Monday November 9th, 2015. The new Collins Bus model features both single rear wheel and dual rear wheel configurations that seat up to 25 passengers. 

This new innovative product offers some unique benefits to the marketplace including increased fuel economy, better visibility, improved driver ergonomics and overall vehicle maneuverability. “We’re very proud to have developed such a versatile product which complements our already extensive line of School, MFSAB and MPV buses.” said Matt Scheuler, Vice President and General Manager of Collins Bus.
