Ethan Allen Transportation Regional Leader Named to NYSBCA Board

KINGSTON, N.Y. — Bree Allen, regional leader of Ethan Allen Transportation that serves the Kingston City School District, has been named to the board of directors of the New York School Bus Contractors Association (NYSBCA), an organization comprising nearly 100 school transportation service companies across New York State. The announcement was made by NYSBCA Executive Director Jennifer Hickey Bruce.

“It is an honor to welcome Bree to the board of directors,” stated Bruce. “We look forward to her help in advancing our goal that all contractors in the state enjoy access to the latest school transportation safety education and training resources. I’m confident her contributions to the board will be many and will be felt throughout NYSBCA.”

Allen, who also serves as co-chair of the government relations committee of the National School Transportation Association, was named to the NYSBCA board of directors at the group’s recent annual convention in Manhattan.

Under Allen’s direction, Ethan Allen Transportation has been recognized for its commitment to the highest possible safety standards, including ongoing driver training and education, and was awarded the Ulster County School Bus Driver of the Year designation by the Mid-Hudson Transportation Supervisors Association.
