First Student Awarded New Contract in Illinois

NORMAL, Ill. — McLean County Unit District 5 in Normal, Ill. will depend on First Student to deliver students safely to and from school during the 2015-16 school year and beyond. The district recently awarded the company a new three-year contract.

“We have been proud to serve the district and look forward to continuing our partnership,” said First Student Area General Manager Bob Rutkoski. “There is nothing more important than the safety of the students we transport, and our team is focused on delivering high-quality transportation services for the Normal community.”

First Student operates a fleet of more than 150 buses for McLean County Unit District 5. The buses travel nearly two million miles a year and deliver more than 10,000 students to 23 schools in the district.
