First Student to Provide Shuttle Service for 2010 U.S. Senior Open

CINCINNATI— First Student Charter Bus Rental, the charter service division of the nation’s leader in student transportation, will provide shuttle service for the USGA’s U.S. Senior Open at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash., July 26 through Aug. 1. The company has contracted with event organizer, Bruno Event Team, to provide up to 85 buses and more than 180 drivers to shuttle spectators throughout the event.

First Student’s charter division will provide free shuttle service for spectators from Marymoor Park to the country club from 6:30 a.m. until one hour after play ends for the day. Marymoor Park, located at 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE in Redmond, Wash., is the sole spectator parking area for the event. The company will also provide transportation for the event’s Volunteer Party on Sat., July 24.

This marks the second time that First Student has partnered with Bruno Event Team for the U.S. Senior Open. First Student provided shuttle service in 2009 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. First Student has also partnered with Bruno to provided transportation for the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open and Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic.

First Student will provide buses from its Seattle and Tacoma locations.
