COLUMBUS, Ohio — Transfinder University On the Road kicks off today in Columbus, Ohio. The location intelligence software developer’s specialized training is heading to Seattle, Washington, and Kansas City, Missouri next year.
Transfinder Corp., the leading developer of school bus routing software, is taking its popular “Transfinder University” training series “on the road” for the first time and kicks off in Columbus, Ohio today.
The three-day Routing Proficiency Class will cover such topics as: Geocoding; Map editing; Pre-routing; and Reporting. The hands-on class is being held at Embassy Suites in Columbus, Ohio.
Transfinder started Transfinder University in 2013 with 10-week courses offered online. In 2014, Transfinder added in-house three-day intensive courses at its state-of-the-art headquarters in Schenectady. Last year, Transfinder added the course in Austin, Texas, coinciding with the opening of its satellite office in the Texas capital. Transfinder also expanded the topics it is covering in Transfinder University for more advanced users. These offerings are still available and additional information can be found by at http://transfinder.com/services/Transfinder-University.
“Transfinder University continues to grow in popularity as our clients dig deeper into Transfinder technology,” said Antonio Civitella, Transfinder president and CEO. “These courses help equip new users with the tools they need to do their jobs more efficiently. But the courses have also benefitted those who have been using our products for many years as they learn from our expert instructors as well as from one another. But we know not everyone can travel to Schenectady or Austin. Now it’s time to take this great resource on the road.”
Transfinder University will run from Dec. 6-8 in Columbus, Ohio. The course sold out within a few weeks of being offered, drawing students from California, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Transfinder is now adding locations in 2017, including Kansas City, Missouri; and in the Seattle, Washington region.
“We’re very excited to be able to take our Transfinder Proficiency Class on the road,” said Frank Gazeley, Transfinder’s vice president of client relations. “We have had many requests from our clients, asking us to bring the Transfinder University curriculum to their city,”
