Klug Bus Service Transfers Ownership and Becomes Queen City Transportation

Klug Bus Service has been a well-known Cincinnati transportation business since it opened in 1973. Throughout the years, they have gained the respect of the community through their excellent service and transportation offerings. In July of 2014, ownership changed hands and Klug Bus Service became Queen City Transportation.

The new, sole owner of Queen City Transportation is Aaron Haid, an experienced marketing professional from Cincinnati as well. Mr. Haid has revamped the business with upgraded equipment and innovative marketing solutions all while carrying on the tradition of great service and keeping the majority of the staff already employed by Klug Bus Service in place. Haid has also combined the two business offerings of charter and school bus services under one umbrella verses having two separate entities as in the past.

Mr. Haid’s goal in changing the name was to join the two divisions (Klug Bus Service & Charter Bus Service) under one brand. “While having two divisions has worked for the previous owners for years I felt like we needed to have one brand that could carry any type of transportation service we might offer,” Haid said. “I wanted our customers to know we had more than just one solution for their transportation needs.”

The future for Queen City Transportation looks bright as they are working towards the following goals: to continue to provide the most reliable service in the area, to invest in new equipment to reach new opportunities and to expand their services with other forms of transportation. They are also in the process of getting back into the route business with school buses, doing more long-distance trips with motor coaches and working closely with the many colleges and universities in the area.

Currently, Queen City Transportation has 35 school buses, 17 motor coaches and three mini buses available. They continue to maintain the relationships and the quality of service the people of Cincinnati have come to expect.

About Queen City Transportation: Queen City Transportation’s primary mission is to provide the best in safety, service and to develop long-term valued partnerships with our customers. Every day and every trip, our drivers put safety first. We are proud to consistently achieve the highest safety ratings from the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Department of Defense.
