Transfinder OKs Four ‘Parent Portal’ Marketplace Partners

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Transfinder has approved an additional four school transportation companies to be included in its Marketplace of top-tier Parent Portal vendors that integrate with Transfinder technology.

Parent Portal solutions are those products that provide parents and guardians with reliable information surrounding their students’ bus routes and bus stops as well as real-time information about arrival times.

Transfinder’s Marketplace—found at http://www.transfindermarketplace.com—is a clearinghouse of best-in-class vendors that complement or integrate with Transfinder’s cutting edge technology. The Marketplace features products and companies in a number of categories, including camera technology, GPS and now Parent Portals.

The four products and the companies to be added to the Marketplace in the Parent Portal category are:

• Here Comes the Bus by Synovia Solutions, LLC.
• MyBusVue by Zonar
• SafeStop by SafeStop, Inc.
• Treker by Treker

Also under development is Transfinder’s Stopfinder that will also be included in the Marketplace in the Parent Portal category.

“We are happy to have these four well-respected and highly regarded companies included in the Marketplace,” said Antonio Civitella, Transfinder’s president and CEO. “It is our desire to create a one-stop-shop for schools looking for Parent Portal technology to increase or improve communication with the families they serve. We believe these Marketplace products by SafeStop, Synovia, Treker and Zonar are the best of the best.”

Company representatives each expressed appreciation for being included in Transfinder’s Marketplace. Here’s what representatives of Transfinder’s new Marketplace partners had to say:

From SafeStop:
“SafeStop is in the business of giving parents peace of mind. Our secure app makes it easy for parents and administrators to know where their students’ bus is located and when it will arrive at their bus stop. Being a part of their marketplace is a great opportunity to highlight how well our services complement one another for the K-12 transportation market,” said Patrick Gallagher, Director of Sales at SafeStop.

From Synovia:
“Synovia’s Here Comes the Bus app gives parents the location of their child’s bus and sends alerts when the bus is near or has been substituted, and when their child boards and exits the bus. Customizable messaging allows districts to notify parents of delays or bus-related events. We are excited that our long-time partner Transfinder is including this technology among top-tier parent portal products listed in their Marketplace,” John King, Synovia President and CEO.

From Treker:
“Treker is pleased to join Transfinder’s Marketplace of trusted vendors providing parent portal technology. We are looking forward to strengthening the Treker-Transfinder relationship as we make school buses even safer for students across the country,” said Don Wolfson. Executive Vice President of Business Development at Treker.

From Zonar:
“Transfinder is the first company that we are integrating with our school bus tracking app MyBusVue. Transfinder has been a valuable partner and we are happy to be among Transfinder’s ‘best-in-class’ vendors,’” said H. Kevin Mest, Senior Vice President of Passenger Services at Zonar.
