USSC Group Acquires Canadian School Bus Safety & Technology Firm

EXTON, Pa. — USSC Group, (USSC) a manufacturer of safety, survivability and technology products for the mass transit, school bus, military, and first responder markets, today announced the acquisition of Child Check-Mate Systems (CCM).

Headquartered in Ottawa Canada, the company developed and patented a unique alarm system that acts as an electronic reminder to drivers, in order to ensure that all children have safely disembarked the vehicle upon completing each run.

In its 26 years of operations, CCM works with more than 500 school districts worldwide, and its innovative products are presently installed in over 400,000 commercial vehicles.

New VP Appointed

Bradly Both has been promoted to VP at CCM, and with the full support of the USSC team, will oversee the manufacturing in Ottawa, Canada.
