Bus manufacturer Blue Bird Corporation presented its 2015 Dealer Awards last month in during its annual dealer meeting in Richmond, Virginia. Yancey Bus Sales & Service won the Dealer of the Year award for delivering “the best overall performance in North America.”
“Blue Bird dealers are passionate about what they do and are committed to providing school districts and contractors the highest level of sales support and customer service,” said Phil Horlock, president and CEO. “This year, we recognized almost 30 dealers for their performance. We would like to congratulate Yancey Bus Sales & Service on achieving the 2015 Blue Bird Dealer of the Year. The Yancey team has become the market leader over the past several years.”
Mark Terry, general manager of of Yancey Bus Sales & Service, pointed to the dedication of the company’s employees and loyal customer base as the reasons for the 50-percent market share growth in the last eight years. “I was so excited to hear our name called out as the Blue Bird Dealer of the Year that I let out the loudest hoot,” said Terry. “I am proud to have Blue Bird recognize our team effort in handling sales and service for our customers.”
