Thomas Built Buses Institute Returns to STN EXPO

Reno, Nevada will be one of two locations hosting the annual Thomas Built Buses Institute Service Training, the school bus manufacturer announced. Institute Training West will take place in conjunction with the STN EXPO.

The Thomas Built Buses Institute is intended to enhance bus technician skills on Type C and Type D vehicles and to complement school bus maintenance programs. Institute Training West is scheduled for July 28-30 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. The first training opportunity, Institute Training East, is scheduled for May 19-22 at the Sheraton Four Seasons in Greensboro, North Carolina.

“Our hands-on technician training is always popular,” said Mike Stotler, service education manager for Thomas Built Buses. “Participants enjoy the small class size and welcome the opportunity to brush up on their skills in less than a week’s time. With so many changes in the industry, we are pleased to be able to host two Thomas Built Institutes again this year.”

Participants will receive 28 continuing education credit hours. The agenda will cover:
