Shootings in multiple locations within rural northern California has left three people dead and students wounded at an elementary school, KABC reports.
Police have indicated that the suspected shooter is dead.
The number of victims injured is unclear, but several have been confirmed by police to be hospitalized.
Phil Johnston, Tehama County assistant sheriff, has mentioned they are investigating five crime scenes in proximity to Rancho Tehama Reserve, 130 miles north of Sacramento.

Corning Union Elementary Administrative Assistant Jeanine Quist said a “number” of students were shot and wounded but no one was killed.
Corning Union has about 100 students attending and continues to be on lockdown.
