WBTW has reported that two South Carolina teens were charged after the pair attacked a school resource officer and a bus driver during a school bus fight.
County officials said in a statement that two 14-year-old boys started fighting on a bus, which led to the school resource officer getting on the bus and trying to help the bus driver break up the fight.
One of the boys, reports claimed, jumped on the officer’s back and hit her several times, but she was eventually able to get both boys under control and take them into custody. She suffered a wrist injury.
One boy is charged with fighting and assaulting a police officer while resisting arrest. The other teen is charged with fighting.
