School Bus Driver Accused of Vandalizing Own Bus

A Tennessee school bus driver is in hot water after law enforcement discovered that he may have vandalized the school bus he drove in order to file an insurance claim, reported WTVC News Channel 9.

The bus reportedly had curse words written on the door, and its oil tank was filled with sand. Law enforcement followed up and learned he was in fact, the vandal. He had told a colleague he did it to file an insurance claim and get his bus engine repaired before the start of the upcoming school year.

The driver was put on probation for a year and suspended for two days from his job.
