Winners of $50,000 in Anti-Bullying Grants Announced

BELTON, MO – The 2017 United Against Bullying (UAB) Grant Program closed on Friday, March 31st. The annual Grant received a total of 121 applications, up 23% from last year. A total of 35 school districts and community organizations have been selected to receive grant funding this year with awards ranging from $100 to $3500 each.

Before leaving office in January, President Obama took time to issue the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award to the Reverend Doctor James Carter Jr., a pastor, chaplain, and member of the safety department of Long Island, New York’s Educational Bus Transportation, a member organization of The Trans Group.
