Receive updated information on the TSD Conference in March, which returns to Frisco, Texas, with the hot-off-the-presses brochure outlining upcoming training and sessions.
Included with the mailing of the November edition of School Transportation News magazine, the TSD Conference overview provides information on the types of school bus professionals who will be in attendance March 17-22 as well as a snapshot of this past year’s event in Louisville, Kentucky, as told by attendee interaction with the conference app.
The overview introduces the attendees to keynote speaker Craig Davidson, an author of several books, including “Precious Cargo,” which details the year he spent driving a special education bus route and how the experience changed his life. Also highlighting the TSD Conference is Julie Weatherly, Esq., an IDEA and Section 504 compliance legal expert.
TSD is also planning several other engaging general sessions, including one on what student transporters can do to influence law enforcement and the community at-large in better understanding and working with students with autism and communication disorders.
The NHTSA Child Passenger Safety Restraint Systems Training returns on March 19, as do several hands-on securement and evacuation training sessions to open the conference on March 17.
Currently in development, dozens of workshops will focus on issues in operations and safety, student management, policy and law, and leadership and collaboration. Stay tuned for more updates as they are made available.
In the meantime, don’t miss out on the opportunity to save $150 on standard registration by Nov. 30.
