With the capability to follow a designated route, the integrated CoPilot solution on the MDT is ideal for substitute drivers, new bus drivers, or drivers unfamiliar with a new route. Utilizing Synovia’s back office route planning system, driver managers are able to send a pre-planned route to the vehicle using ALK’s RouteSync technology. This allows for the driver to easily follow the prescribed optimized route ensuring route consistency from the back office to the vehicle, with limited driver interaction.
