Florida Association for Pupil Transportation Embrace E-Commerce by Offering PayPal Options to Members

The FAPT Executive Committee recently began using PayPal links on the association’s website to accept credit card payments or district purchasing card payments to process neew and renewal memberships.

The Executive Committee said PayPal was added t the website to help member expedite payment as well as download physical forms.Members may also use PayPal to register and pay for meals and lodging for the 21st Annual Lake Yale Training Meeting, which is scheduled for March 26-29. The theme this year is “Teamwork: Building Partnerships Through Safety and Excellence.”

Louise Piper, FAPT treasurer and supervisor of transportation for Okeechobee County Schools, said additional PayPal registration buttons will be made available for the upcoming Summer Technicians Workshop and the 2012 Summer Symposium, once fees and costs are determined by the board.

Web users who already have PayPal accounts can log in with their user name and password. Others pay with another credit card.
