Safety Vision Goes Mobile with Product-Focused Web Redesign

Mobile video surveillance manufacturer and software provider Safety Vision unveiled a new website that the company said will allow customers to access more information no matter what device they are using.

The site features a responsive design that can be viewed on any computer, tablet or smartphone and categorizes products by the five industries the company focuses on, including pupil transportation. The new site also recommends solutions by each industry, and attributing one or multiple industries to each product, the company added, viewers can use filters by category to refine search results.

The other markets Safety Vision services are mass transit, law enforcement, on- and off-highway trucks, and first responders.

In addition to industry associations, each product page offers a “Compatible Products” section that presents customers with a list of interoperable solutions and that omits incompatible products. For example, Safety Vision pointed out, the RoadRecorder 7000S network video recorder (NVR) product page offers compatible IP cameras and accessories.

Another new feature is a homepage link that takes customers directly to a technical support form.

“With an improved user interface, expanded product detail, and broader emphasis on industry application, navigation and customer experience have improved dramatically,” says Bruce Smith, Safety Vision’s president and CEO.
