Walsh Named New Leader of REV Bus

John Walsh has replaced Kent Tyler as the bus division president for REV Group, Inc., the parent company of Collins Bus.

Walsh had served as vice president of sales for Rev Bus since last June, when he joined the company after coming over from Mobility Ventures, where he was vice president of sales and marketing.

I’m looking forward to working together with our employees and dealers to continue to bring market leading products and services to our customers.”

Walsh spent more than 15 years with National Bus Sales until 2012, first as executive vice president and then as president and CEO starting in 2006. He is also a former president of National Bus Sales and vice president of sales and marketing for ARBOC Specialty Vehicles.

Marcus Berto, executive vice president of REV Group, commented that Walsh is a perfect fit because of his “extensive background in the bus industry.”

A Rev Group spokeswoman confirmed Tyler is no longer with the company, but did not give any further details.

Other Rev Group bus brands include Champion Bus, El Dorado, Federal Coach, Goshen Coach and Krystal.
