Video Spotlight: School Bus Lap/Shoulder Seatbelts: Are Students Safe Enough Without Them?

The installation of seatbelts in school buses has been a hot topic of conversation for quite a while. Four states currently have laws that require lap/shoulder belts in large school buses; California, Texas, Nevada and New Jersey.

An award-winning documentary produced by Montana PBS asks whether school buses are ‘Safe Enough?’ without lap/shoulder seatbelts. The documentary will be shown during the STN EXPO Reno Trade Show on July 30. Visit stnonline.com/go/5m to read more on seatbelt legislation and watch the documentary.
