Florida School Bus Driver Pleads Guilty to Hit and Run

The Daily Voice reported that school bus driver, Deborah Berrios, 52, of Plattekill, Orange Country, Florida, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a fatal crash with a pedestrian.

Berrios left the site without reporting the June 24, 2019 incident, the Daily Voice said. Last year, on Nov. 28, Berrios reportedly hit and killed a pedestrian while driving a school bus.

The article said the driver admitted to knowing she struck the man and that the man had been injured. There were no children on the bus at the time of the accident.

The defendant is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019.
