School Bus Driver Caused Collision, Issued Summonses

According to nj.com, a school bus driver who ran a stop sign that resulted in a collision that sent two people to the hospital, one critically, was issued summonses for her role in the accident.

The driver told police that she was behind schedule while also unfamiliar with the route when she sped through a stop sign and into an intersection. 

The school bus struck a Jeep, injuring both the driver and passenger, one of them severely. Authorities reported that the passenger may need a finger amputated.

There were three passengers in the bus at the time of the accident. Only one was reported to have received minor injuries. The bus driver emerged from the accident without any injuries.
