Anthony Brown Named Contract Manager at First Student in Lutcher, La.

CINCINNATI—First Student, the nation’s leader in student transportation, has named Anthony Brown contract manager for the company’s Lutcher, La. location.

Brown manages all aspects of daily transportation operations for the location serving the St. James Parish School District, including maintenance, safety and training. A resident of Harvey, Brown brings a wealth of transportation, safety and training experience to the company.

“Anthony has spent the past several years providing traffic and safety instruction to students and service members, and prior to that, he served the Jefferson Parish School Board as a school bus driver,” said Tony Vidrine, region operations manager, First Student. “His knowledge of the area, experience in school transportation operations and commitment to ensuring the safe transportation for the students in the district is a tremendous asset to our team and the Lutcher community.”

Brown was most recently a traffic and safety instructor for Cape Fox Professional Services in Greenville, N.C. He was responsible for proving safety training to students on such topics as emergency vehicle, motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle operations, as well as group and individual instruction to members of the military. He also performed daily inspections on all equipment. Brown also spent three years as a school bus driver with the Jefferson Parish School Board.
