REI Launches Compact, Lightweight DVR for Digital Video Surveillance

OMAHA, Neb. – Radio Engineering Industries, Inc. (REI) adds SD40, a compact lightweight solid-state DVR, to its family of BUS-WATCH® digital video surveillance systems. REI now offers unparalleled surveillance options to school buses and mass transit systems.

REI’s SD40 features the most efficient H.264 video compression technology, providing faster downloads and longer recording times utilizing REI’s SD memory card.

Download convenience with solid-state memory and low temperature performance makes the SD40 reliable, tamper resistant and easy to maintain. By removing the postage-size REI SD card instead of a larger hard drive, videos can be downloaded quickly and easily.

REI’s SD40 additional features include: connecting up to 4 surveillance cameras; GPS and WiFi compatibility; and 8 way sensor programming.
