School Bus Logistics Adds Director of Route Logistics

DENVER, Colo. — School Bus Logistics, LLC., the leader in logistics consulting and support to school districts across North America, has added a new staff member, Megan Snair. Established in 2010, School Bus Logistics (SBL) has helped school districts there optimize routing, to aid in budgetary efficiencies and safe transportation of school children.

Snair will help SBL to bring on more clients and provide them with the personalized route management SBL is known for. Snair will serve as director of route logistics, bringing additional experience and expertise to the already knowledgeable staff.

Snair has more than 20 years of experience in school bus transportation and logistics.

She is well-versed in route efficiencies, software training, and implementation, project management, bell time analysis, redistricting and route management. Snair has worked with more than 100 school districts nationwide during her career. She worked as a training coordinator at Tyler Technologies (formerly Versatrans Solutions, Inc.) and spent the last 11 years as a route logistics specialist for National Express, LLC.

“The level of knowledge and professionalism Megan shows were the deciding factors in our decision to bring her onto the team,” said Robert Jacobus, CEO and founder of School Bus Logistics. “Our goal is to ensure each new hire provides industry-best practices and can continue to bring the highest level of service to our clients. Megan will do that and more.”

As an expert in Versatrans—as a user and trainer—Snair is well-respected in the industry. In addition to her professional achievements, she also serves as a member of the Rondout Valley Central School District Board of Education, where she continues to gain extensive experience with school budgets and the issues many districts face.

SBL plans to attend several trade shows this year, including the STN Expo in Reno and NAPT Conference. During these events, SBL will showcase Route Management Services, which provides districts with complete turn-key routing that focuses on improving customer service to schools and families.
