Transportation Services Co. Adds to Its Executive Sales Team

Transportation Services Co. (TSC), an innovative fleet management services company working with school districts, private contractors and school bus manufacturers, today announced two additions to its sales team. Josh Ricker has been named VP of sales, East Region and Jim Riley has been named VP of sales, West Region.

TSC is a member of the TransPar Group of Companies, which is a partnership of three leading organizations from across the school transportation industry that offer a diverse portfolio of products and services representing the most comprehensive and responsible solutions in the industry.

TSC continues to build momentum in the transportation industry by helping school districts and contractors with fleet analysis and planning, maintenance programs, and implementing risk management solutions. With a growing portfolio, TSC provide clients with customized fleet management solutions to reduce costs and improve their school transportation operations.

Josh Ricker, a graduate of the University of Arizona, has spent the last 25 years in senior leadership in the commercial fleet management industry. He was responsible for launching the first Canadian operation for his prior company, and helping hundreds of mid-size businesses gain efficiency and reduce costs by helping to improve their fleet performance. In his most recent role, he built a $40 million operation encompassing eastern Canada with over 20 direct reports.

Jim Riley joins TSC after having spent the past 20 plus years developing award-winning sales teams throughout the country. His most recent role was overseeing all aspects of a $100 million sales organization for Enterprise Holdings, where some of the responsibilities included managing the acquisition and disposal of more than 8,000 vehicles a year while consistently maintaining year over year growth in volume and net profits. His expertise as an operator, combined with his consultative approach in gathering relevant information, has proven to be extremely effective in creating customized solutions for each of his client’s unique set of circumstances.

“I could not be happier with the team that we continue to build at TSC,” stated Tod Eskra, President of TSC. “Both of the VP’s bring a wealth of fleet management experience and accomplishments to our organization. They are trusted advisors who will help show school officials how you can make smart budget and operational decisions based on identifiable data. Their expertise touches on many of the most critical business issues–an aging fleet and years of pent-up replacement demand; limited access to capital; and budget constraints. They will work to address these with a defined fleet replacement strategy and creative alternative financing solutions. From fleet management analysis and planning to vehicle acquisition and funding, a district’s aging fleet doesn’t have to distract from the number one priority of providing a quality education to the children within the community. We have found that districts really need help understanding these issues and ultimately taking action to address them so we published a white paper recently that has been well-received and the addition of Josh and Jim is going to further our efforts in helping districts. I am looking forward to the growth and success each will bring to our business and customers.”
