Federal agencies may begin purchasing Trans Tech Bus models after the company passed U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) testing standards. Trans Tech is now listed as GSA approved vendor.
GSA is the mandatory source for the purchase of federal agency vehicles, and the GSA testing process is intended to ensure an adequate measure of standardization and that federal agencies have access to the highest quality transportation products available.
“We very pleased to be on the GSA approved vendor list,” said Trans Tech Bus President Dan Daniels in a statement. “It was a thorough process and we are proud of the fact that we will now be able to sell our buses directly to federal agencies across the country.
“It’s a testament to our workforce and the quality school buses they build each day. We have a great team here at Trans Tech Bus, a team that is committed to making the best type-A school buses in the country.”
The milestone is the second in the past three months for Trans Tech, which last fall unveiled its new all-electric, zero-emission eTrans Type A at the NAPT Summit. Trans Tech’s GSA approval signifies the company’s continued commitment to competitive pricing and the development of safety features that provide best-in-class transportation solutions.
