STN EXPO East Moving to North Carolina in 2025

STN Media Group executed an agreement earlier this summer with the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Concord Golf Resort & Spa to host STN EXPO East in March 2025 and 2026.

STN EXPO East launched in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2019 as a closer alternative to STN EXPO Reno for industry professionals living in the Eastern time zone. While STN EXPO West in Reno, Nevada regularly attracts attendees from across the county, the majority hail from the Western states. Would-be attendees have often mentioned to STN staff over the years that Reno is too far and too expensive for them to travel to.

But COVID-19 coupled with holding STN EXPO East in June — and in proximity date-wise with several annual state conferences — proved problematic for attendees and vendors, alike. The new deal with the hotel and convention property located northeast of downtown Charlotte and next to the Charlotte Motor Speedway comes with mid-March dates that were left vacant industry wide when STN Media permanently moved TSD Conference to November.

“We are excited to bring STN EXPO to the east coast in the spring of 2025,” commented Tony Corpin, president and publisher of STN Media. “Charlotte is a great city. There are numerous OEMs and supplier partners in the region, which will allow the conference an opportunity to provide unique experiences to attendees. I’m especially excited to utilize the Charlotte Motor Speedway for our Green Bus Summit. The experience of driving a school bus on the same track as a NASCAR event like the Coca Cola 600 will be incredible.”

STN EXPO in Charlotte will be March 21-25, 2025. In the meantime, STN EXPO East concludes its Indianapolis run from May 31-June 4, 2024.
