REI Connects Students to Mobile Learning Environment

OMAHA, Neb. – Radio Engineering Industries, (REI) recognized a need for schools to provide students Internet access while being transported to and from school. REI enhanced its mobile cellular Wi-Fi solution by offering various data plans with the purchase of the router. This solution provides students the ability to connect to their learning environment on the school bus.

Using a laptop, tablet or other personal handheld device for homework, REI’s cellular Wi-Fi router distributes bandwidth for up to 65 passengers allowing students Internet access simultaneously. For added safety and security while online, each school has the preference to set up website blocking and password logins.

The cellular plans offered by REI are by popular cellular carriers. A school may choose a plan based on amount of bandwidth and budgetary needs. REI’s solution to combine Wi-Fi routers with data plans, benefits students to stay connected to their classroom while on their bus.
