Shots Fired at Virginia School Bus

The Virginian Pilot is reporting that an investigation is currently underway by Portsmouth police after two summer school students allegedly got off a school bus and fired guns as the bus drove away.

Churchland High summer school principal Ana-Maria Incorminias informed parents of Tuesday’s incident in a letter sent home Wednesday.

Incorminias wrote that the two students had guns in their possession on the school bus and the students fired the weapons as the bus drove away.

Incorminias said the school conducted an investigation and disciplined those involved. She did not say what kind of discipline was imposed.

No students or staff members were hurt. Police were notified of the incident.
