Those enjoying the national past time of watching NFL football on Thanksgiving Day had a healthy dose of school buses to go along with their turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings.
The NFL and United Way unveiled their latest public service announcement on the the Play 60 anti-obesity campaign, which encourages children to be active for at least 60 minutes a day. The commercial follows football players from several professional teams as they ride school buses to visit local schools in Cincinnati, Chicago, St. Louis and Boston.
The school buses end up at a playing field where the players and kids unload and start football drills. The school buses are seen lined up in the background. The PSA debuted during the three NFL games airing on CBS, Fox and the NFL Network. The first commercial aired during the New England Patriots-Detroit Lions game on CBS.
First Student announced earlier in the week that two of its drivers, Wesley Tate in St. Louis (pictured, above) and Corthis Noel in Boston, participated during the filming. Tate transported players, cheerleaders and the mascots from the St. Louis Rams and Noel did the same for the New England Patriots to visit the schools and take part in physical fitness activities with students.
