Green Bus Summit to Address Alt-Fuel Funding, Implementation

After the conclusion of the STN EXPO on Tuesday, July 28, join us for the inaugural Green Bus Summit, a one-day symposium that extends the STN EXPO experience. Held on Wednesday, July 29, it will provide attendees with a map to identify grant fund opportunities for implementing alternative fuels and understanding myriad options available to fleets today and in the future.

The symposium will be conducted in a general session format, with sessions all in one room at the Grand Sierra Resort. The Green Bus Summit has a separate cost from the STN EXPO main conference registration — $49 with STN EXPO main conference registration or $199 to attend the Summit only. The symposium will include a keynote lunch panel (subject to change), technology showcase and sponsored networking breaks.

One scheduled Green Bus Summit session will address grant writing and funding opportunities for your fleet. Attendees will learn how to obtain funds based on the current and projected opportunities to pay for everything; from purchasing new vehicles, to implementing fueling infrastructure and stations, to covering your staff resources.

Other scheduled topics include:

  • Alt Fuels 101
  • Advanced Technology Deployment
  • Meeting Regulatory Requirements
  • The True Impact of Alt-Fuel Costs
  • Alt-Fuel Technology Showcase

Hotel room reservations for the Green Bus Summit are available at the Grand Sierra Resort. The $79 room rate and $109 upgraded room rate for STN EXPO also applies to those attending the Green Bus Summit. Reservations can be made through the same hotel reservation system as for the STN EXPO on the Hotel & Travel page.
